The Family-Owned Business Institute and the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance are offering an informative workshop for local companies.
“Mastering Conflict in Family Business: Better Ways to Cooperate at Work” will be presented April 12, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It will be at Helmerich Hall, Room 300 on the University of Tulsa campus.

The Family-Owned Business Institute is a program of TU’s Collins College of Business.
The workshop will be led by Sylvia Lafair, PhD. She is president and CEO of Creative Energy Options, Inc., a global consulting company focused on optimizing workplace relationships through her exclusive PatternAware™ Leadership Model.
As an executive coach and leadership educator, Dr. Lafair has 30-plus years of experience with all levels of management from corporate officers of global companies to executives of non-profits, owners of leading family-owned businesses, and entrepreneurs. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and taught at Hahnemann University.
Dr. Lafair is author of the book “Don’t Bring It To Work. Breaking the Family Patterns that Limit Success.”
