Our 2010 Elections:
Of the People. By the People. And with YOUR People
Most business people don’t realize what an historic leadership shift we’ll have after the November 2 results are in. Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Treasurer, State Superintendent of Schools, State Senate President Pro Temp, State Speaker of the House, and both minority leaders of the House and Senate are either termed out, not running, or running for another office. The impact will be enormous.
A strong, pro-prosperity army files through your doors every day: Your employees. Their top election priority? Their jobs and the economy.
Your employees will vote. And more than any other source, they trust YOU for nonpartisan, objective election information about the economy and jobs before they go to the polls. You can’t tell them how to vote. But you can provide with factual positions from the candidates on issues that impact employees’ pocketbooks – and yours.
But with so many priorities on your plate, what’s the easiest way to engage your team? Nearly 1,500 Oklahoma companies – representing 487,000 employees — use the Oklahoma Prosperity Project’s nonpartisan, hassle-free election communications to help employees register to vote and learn how election issues impact their pocketbooks.
Kris Rush, The State Chamber’s Prosperity Project Director, brings us free Election Toolkits, breakroom posters, email messages — everything you’ll need to launch a hassle-free campaign in your workplace. And she’ll introduce The Ponca City Chamber’s Prosperity Project program for our members.
The Prosperity Project is a nonpartisan election education program sponsored by The State Chamber of Commerce and Oklahoma employers. It does not endorse candidates. It does not tell people how to vote.
