A few great new pieces have been added to the program for this year’s 2011 Conference on Manufacturing.
For those interested in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement, we now have a session on “Changing the Culture: Your Key to Sustaining a Lean Transformation.” This is great for companies looking to take their efficiency work to a higher level, but also valuable to novices just beginning to explore the world of continuous improvement.

While you’re there, go ahead and register for the conference, which is set for October 5 at the Reed Center in Midwest City. It’s just $125 for the full day and includes lunch.
The conference is pleased to welcome LaRoux Gillespie. He’s the 2012 president of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). He’ll make a few remarks and be available to personally answer questions and share his vast experience. Of course, you’ll have the benefit of gleaning valuable best practices from our two keynote speakers, Adam Hartung and Emily DeRocco.
