Many large companies become “Corporate Members” and help serve as a catalyst to strengthen Oklahoma manufacturing—accelerating its ongoing transformation into a more efficient and powerful engine of innovation, while driving economic growth and job creation. Corporate Members are acknowledged by state government and private business executives as economic development leaders. These leaders are on the forefront, creating a better quality of life for all Oklahomans.
Corporate Members work closely with organizations on a national level, including the Department of Commerce, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership. The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) includes affiliates in all 50 states. MEP often engages in projects—regionally and nationally—with the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and other agencies.
In local areas, it offers the sponsor an opportunity to work and support efforts through CareerTech Centers, community colleges and local economic development organizations.
Of course, Corporate Members are recognized in all the traditional ways through collateral material, online resources, event signage and other avenues. In addition, Corporate Members play an important role in developing content for the annual Oklahoma Conference on Manufacturing. Corporate Members are offered free exhibit space at the state conference and two complimentary registrations.
