Assessments
Assessments can play a pivotal role for small and medium-sized manufacturers by providing critical insights into their operational strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. These assessments enable organizations to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current performance across various operational areas, including production efficiency, quality management, workforce development, and supply chain resilience.
OMA offers targeted assessment services to help Oklahoma manufacturers evaluate key areas of their business and identify practical next steps. Each assessment focuses on a specific area: operational excellence, supply chain risk, cybersecurity readiness, or technology and automation opportunities. Manufacturers may complete one assessment or multiple assessments depending on their needs.
Each assessment is valued at $7,500 and is designed to give company leaders useful insight, focused guidance, and a clear starting point for improvement. For eligible Oklahoma manufacturers, OMA covers the cost, so there is no fee charged to the company.

Business Excellence Optimization:
This quick and easy assessment was developed by the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance to provide a holistic look at your operations. It evaluates key aspects of manufacturing production and provides actionable recommendations for improvement. This assessment helps manufacturers benchmark their performance against industry standards and best practices, guiding them in enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and increasing profitability.
Supply Chain Risk:
This tool helps manufacturers assess their supply chain strategy, identify risks, and improve inventory management. By strengthening resilience and efficiency, companies can reduce disruptions, boost customer satisfaction, and lower costs. The assessment takes 20–30 minutes, followed by a one-hour on-site discussion with executive leadership and/or the owner.
Technology & Automation Readiness:
This evaluation helps manufacturers assess their readiness and opportunities for implementing automation and advanced technologies. Our team can use it to identify tasks suitable for automation, evaluating return on investment (ROI) considerations, and implementing automation solutions effectively to streamline operations and increase productivity.
Cybersecurity:
The cybersecurity assessment introduces key security concepts to your workforce on supply chain and includes a structured small-group session with your security team. Together, you’ll develop a customized plan to strengthen your security posture, with a focus on NIST 800-171 compliance and, if applicable, CMMC requirements.
